Applied Suicide Intervention Skills training (ASIST)
Attend an ASIST workshop and learn to apply a suicide intervention model. It will help you to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide. You will then learn to explore and connect with the person in ways that understand and clarify the risk, increase their immediate safety and link them with further help.
When: Friday and Saturday February 23 and 24, 2018 from 8:45am-5:00pm.

Domestic Violence Awareness training:
A 2-hour awareness session that raises awareness of domestic and family violence.
Lifeline Ballarat is running four workshop in the Grampians and Central Highlands region.
Locations are Horsham, Stawell, Ballarat and Ararat.
These workshops are funded by the Department of Social Services and are free for frontline workers.
