The Uniting Ballarat Book Fairs, held in March and November each year, sell hundreds of second-hand books at bargain prices. No matter what your interest may be, there will be a book for everyone: fiction, non-fiction, reference, hobbies, travel, children’s books, art, science, literature, history, biographies, old, rare or out of the ordinary.

As books are donated, all funds raised are able to be utilised towards our non-government funded programs such as BreezeWay Meals Program and our homeless support services.

Book Purchases

The Book Fairs have no EFTPOS facilities so are only able to accept cash for book payments. It would be ideal if you BYO green bags or boxes to carry home your purchases, however we will have a small amount of plastic bags available.

Book Donations

The Event Committee is always looking for further book donations and will take most books in good condition except Encyclopaedias and Reader’s Digest condensed books. If you have books that you wish to donate, please contact our office on 5332 1286

Event Volunteers

Books are sorted all year and volunteers are needed year round. If you love books and are willing to assist us, please call our office on 5332 1286.
